Meta launched Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, with access for Muse Code subscribers and Muse Wonder also available through its Model API.
Meta announced two additions to its Muse model lineup on October 12, 2026: Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. Both are available to Muse Code subscribers, while Muse Wonder is also accessible through Meta’s Model API.
The company says the models can compete with leading offerings from OpenAI and Anthropic. Meta cited internal benchmark testing that included GPT-6 Astra, Claude Opus 5.5, and Claude Fable 5.1. The article provides no benchmark scores, so the comparisons remain company claims rather than independently detailed results. It also notes that Google’s Gemini 4 Argon was not clearly covered in the comparison because its capabilities were still emerging.
Meta plans to use Muse Wonder to power its Muse agent, beginning with subscribers. The company has not given a schedule for that integration or specified when it expects to offer specialized models more broadly to Muse users.
The releases follow Muse Spark, identified as the first model from Meta Superintelligence Labs, and the launch of the Muse agent. Together, they add new models to Meta’s expanding AI lineup, but the launch announcement leaves open how the models perform outside the company’s internal evaluations and when Muse users will see Wonder powering the agent.
