French security company Sekoia has rolled out Elevate after an early-access program involving around 2,000 customers and reported faster investigations.
French cybersecurity company Sekoia has begun rolling out Elevate, an agentic AI tool for investigating security threats, to its customers. The launch follows an early-access program that involved around 2,000 customers, according to Reuters. Elevate lets organizations connect an AI model of their choice and give it tools to analyze cybersecurity threats autonomously.
Sekoia says service providers in Europe and the United States that tested Elevate reported investigation times cut by as much as fivefold. That figure is a company-reported result, not an independently published benchmark. The company, founded in 2022, counts EDF, Vinci and France’s armed forces ministry among its customers. CEO Freddy Milesi told Reuters that the model itself is only one part of the product; integrations and supporting systems also matter.
The rollout comes as security teams face growing volumes of alerts and attackers experiment with AI tools. Automating parts of an investigation could give analysts more time for decisions that require human judgment, but the practical value will depend on how well the agents handle varied incidents and fit into customers’ existing operations.
Sekoia’s announcement is part of a wider shift in security software toward AI-assisted investigation. The company has not, in the reporting, provided a breakdown of the early-access users’ test methods or results by incident type. The reported time savings should therefore be read as feedback from participating providers rather than a guarantee of performance for every deployment. Reuters reported the rollout on September 30, 2026.
